House Manager

House Manager (Part-Time / On-Call) – Austin, TX

Pay: $20–$25/hour (based on experience)

About the Role

We are seeking a reliable and detail-oriented House Manager to support day-to-day operations across a portfolio of luxury short-term rental properties in Austin. This is a hands-on, on-call role ideal for someone who enjoys problem-solving, working independently, and ensuring exceptional guest experiences.

Key Responsibilities

  • Perform routine property checks to ensure homes are guest-ready
  • Coordinate and oversee cleaning, maintenance, and vendor visits
  • Respond to on-site issues (e.g., pool, hot tub, HVAC, minor repairs)
  • Troubleshoot and resolve basic maintenance concerns
  • Pick up packages and supplies for properties
  • Deliver guest welcome items or special requests (e.g., gifts, amenities)
  • Assist with guest needs or urgent issues during active stays
  • Communicate updates with the operations team in a timely manner

What We’re Looking For

  • Based in Austin, TX with reliable transportation
  • Strong problem-solving skills and ability to act quickly
  • Comfortable handling basic handyman-type tasks or coordinating vendors
  • Excellent communication and professionalism
  • Flexible availability, including occasional evenings/weekends
  • Prior experience in property management, hospitality, or maintenance is a plus
