THE POSITION
Are you looking for an exciting internship experience? Our paid Internship Program offers real-world exposure for students interested in the live entertainment industry. Throughout the program, you’ll gain hands-on experience across multiple areas of the live event business while applying your academic knowledge to real-world situations. You’ll also strengthen your leadership, problem-solving, and communication skills along the way.
This part-time position requires 15–20 hours per week. Interns are expected to work in our Austin office Tuesday through Thursday, so please ensure your availability aligns with these days. The internship runs through the Summer and Fall semesters, beginning June 23, 2026, and concluding November 19, 2026.
WHAT THIS ROLE WILL DO
- Manage wristband fulfillment and shipment for each festival
- Manage mobile application information and updates for each festival
- Gain an understanding of various marketing platforms, including TikTok, Instagram, Twitter, Facebook, Spotify, YouTube, Snapchat, Webflow, Mailchimp, and Sprout Social
- Develop an understanding of how to research DMAs and demographics to support digital advertising strategy
- Coordinate with the creative team on copywriting and asset production
- Assist with on-site festival logistics, including social media marketing, giveaway winner prize fulfillment, and media partner support
- Handle administrative tasks and provide support to senior marketers
- Assist with basic graphic design tasks (experience with Photoshop and InDesign is a plus)
- Provide general administrative support as needed
LEARNING OBJECTIVES
- Gain an understanding of digital marketing and social media practices within the live entertainment industry
- Learn how festival marketing campaigns are planned and executed, both in the office and on-site
- Develop organizational, communication, and teamwork skills while supporting day-to-day marketing operations
WHAT THIS PERSON WILL BRING
- This role requires you to be in our Austin, TX office. It is not a remote internship opportunity
- Currently enrolled in an accredited college or university; preferably in a field related to the internship you are applying for
- Junior or Senior standing
- Previous experience preferred (school, internship, or professional)
- Creative thinker and problem solver
- Strong sense of judgment, tact, and diplomacy
- Strong sense of teamwork and ability to execute programs
- Interest in music, live events, digital marketing, and social media marketing
- Basic knowledge of digital marketing platforms, including Webflow, Mailchimp, Facebook, Twitter/X, Instagram, YouTube, and TikTok
- Resourceful and detail-oriented
- Not afraid to ask for help
- Excellent verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills
- Strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and initiative
- Competency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
- Exercises sound judgment with professionalism and discretion
- Able to commit to 15-20 hours per week, with in-office availability Tuesday through Thursday
- Ability to bring a personal laptop to the office
