Job Overview

Centro Coffee Shop is looking for a reliable and customer-focused barista to join our team. The barista is responsible for preparing high-quality coffee drinks, maintaining a clean and organized workspace, and delivering excellent customer service in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

Prepare espresso drinks, brewed coffee, and specialty beverages according to shop standards

Take customer orders accurately and operate the POS system

Maintain a clean and organized bar, prep area, and seating area

Restock ingredients, cups, and supplies throughout the shift

Follow opening and closing procedures

Ensure consistency and quality in every drink served

Provide friendly and efficient customer service

Follow food safety and health department guidelines

Requirements

Previous barista or coffee shop experience preferred

Ability to work in a fast-paced environment

Strong attention to detail and cleanliness

Reliable, punctual, and responsible

Comfortable working as part of a small team

Ability to stand for long periods and lift up to 30 lbs

Availability

Weekend availability required

Ability to work morning shifts
