Property Management Student
Texas State Materials Management Department is seeking dependable and customer - focused student workers. The Property Management department supports university operations through several functional areas. Property Mgmt is responsible for overseeing large capital asset items (high dollar equipment) and maintaining the University Inventory system.

Job Summary
The student assistant will support the PM area with daily administrative and operational task. This role will involve frequent communication with university departments. The student employee will also assist with inventory-related activities and provide support during special campus events.
Job Duties / qualifications
Scan, process and sort incoming packages for university departments.
Provide assistance to customers seeking surplus items as well as incoming freight.
Must have experience with Outlook, sending emails and scheduling appointments will be a daily task.
Ability to lift up to 50lbs
Must have a valid DL
Ability to pass a driving record check (required for operating a Texas State vehicle)
Reliable transportation to and from the warehouse (we are located 3 miles from campus; no bus route available)
Strong communication skills and ability to work well with others
We will start at $10hr with a pay increase every semester you are with us.

Student employees will be evaluated by their direct supervisor each semester bases on:
