Who We Are
We are MilkMade, a small-batch ice cream trailer serving up dairy and vegan options in the heart of Austin. We believe in fresh ingredients, sustainability, and keeping Austin delicious. We serve the best scoops in town, but we need someone to help us serve the best looks on the internet.
The Role
We are looking for a creative, savvy, and food-obsessed student to take the reins of our Instagram and TikTok. You won’t just be posting photos; you’ll be the voice of our brand, capturing the vibe of the trailer, the joy of our customers, and the art of the perfect drip.
This is the perfect gig for a Marketing, Communications, or Design student looking to build a real-world portfolio (and get paid for it).
What You’ll Do
Capture Content: Visit the trailer 1-2 times a week to film Reels/TikToks and take high-quality photos of our flavors, specials, and smiling customers.
Manage the Feed: Plan and post 3-4 times a week on Instagram and TikTok.
Engage: Reply to DMs, comments, and tag loyal customers to build our community.
Trend Spotting: Keep up with trending audio and local Austin food trends to keep us relevant.
Stories: Post "Behind the Scenes" or "Flavor of the Day" stories to keep our followers hungry.
Who You Are
A Storyteller: You know how to make a 15-second video feel exciting.
Social Savvy: You live on TikTok and Instagram. You understand hashtags, transitions, and trending audio.
Austin Local: You are currently a student in the Austin area (HS or College) and have reliable transportation to get to the trailer.
Self-Starter: You don’t need someone standing over your shoulder to tell you what to post.
Device Ready: You have a smartphone with a high-quality camera.
