About Retro Boat Rentals ATX

Retro Boat Rentals ATX offers a one-of-a-kind way to experience downtown Austin from the water. Our beautifully restored vintage fiberglass boats cruise Lady Bird Lake in true jet-age style, featuring mid-century colors, classic fins, and chrome details.

The best part of the restoration? Our boats are powered by eco-friendly, zero-emission electric motors, creating a clean, quiet, and approachable experience for guests of all boating skill levels.

Environmental responsibility is core to who we are. By replacing outdated, high-polluting motors and restoring boats that may have otherwise ended up abandoned or in landfills, we give new life to classic vessels while helping protect Austin’s waterways.

Our current fleet includes 9 vintage fiberglass boats and 2 Duffy Boats, and we operate year-round, weather permitting.

We’re looking for a positive, energetic, reliable, and team-oriented individual to join our dock crew.
