Barista - Cafe Cortado
The Barista is responsible for preparing and serving high-quality coffee and espresso beverages while delivering friendly, efficient customer service in a fast-paced coffee trailer environment. This role requires strong multitasking skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work independently or with a small team in a compact workspace.
Must be passionate about great coffee, customer service, and building strong culture.
Key Responsibilities
- Prepare espresso, coffee, and specialty beverages according to recipes and quality standards.
- Greet customers, take orders accurately, and handle point-of-sale transactions.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the trailer, equipment, and workstations.
- Restock supplies and assist with inventory tracking as needed.
- Follow food safety, sanitation, and health guidelines at all times.
- Open and/or close the trailer, including setup and breakdown when required.
- Work efficiently during busy periods while maintaining product quality and customer service.
Qualifications & Skills
- Friendly, reliable, and customer-focused attitude
- Ability to work in a small, fast-paced space
- Strong communication and basic math skills
- Ability to stand for extended periods and lift light to moderate supplies
- Previous barista or food service experience preferred, but not required (training provided)
Work Environment
- Mobile coffee trailer with limited space
- Outdoor work conditions may vary based on weather
- Shifts are 6:30am - 3pm M-F, 8:30am-5pm Saturday & Sunday. Must be able to work entire shift.
