📣 Social Media & Content Creation Assistant (Part-Time)

Location: Remote or Austin, TX preferred
Hours: Flexible, 5–10 hours/week
Start Date: Immediately
Compensation: Hourly (DOE)

We’re looking for a creative, detail-oriented Social Media & Content Creation Assistant to support our growing lifestyle and design brands. This role is perfect for a college student or early-career creative who loves graphic design, keeps up with social media trends, and is comfortable creating polished, aesthetically strong content.

 

✨ What You’ll Do

Assist with social media content creation across Instagram, TikTok, and Pinterest

Build and refine graphics, templates, and layouts in Canva (or similar programs)

Help schedule or upload posts, stories, and reels

Create on-brand visual assets: moodboards, product features, quote cards, simple animations, etc.

Research and identify relevant trends, audio clips, caption ideas, and content hooks

Help maintain a consistent brand aesthetic and tone across platforms

Light editing of photos or short video clips

Assist with organizing content libraries and creative assets

 

🎨 Who You Are

A college student or early-career creative with strong design instincts

Skilled in Canva, or similar design software (Adobe skills are a bonus, not required)

Obsessed with social media and understand what performs well on Instagram + TikTok

Strong eye for layout, typography, color, and visual storytelling

Organized, proactive, and comfortable working independently

Able to take direction and build upon brand guidelines

Loves experimenting with content and trying new creative approaches

Interest in lifestyle, design, motherhood, aesthetics, or culture is a plus

 

📁 Nice-to-Have

Experience editing short-form video

Knowledge of trending audio + TikTok editing basics

Familiarity with brand voice and caption writing

Comfort sourcing inspiration and creating moodboards
