The Role

We’re looking for a local Austin-based Events Media intern to support our team. This role will focus on our local community meetup and mastermind events. You’ll help bring our gatherings and creative experiences to life; whether that’s scouting venues, coordinating vendors, filming content, or being boots-on-the-ground at events.

This position averages ~10 hours/month, and can extend into a paid position after the internship period ends. No non-local travel is required.

Responsibilities

• Event Coordination
  • Research venues/vendors for events and activations
  • Support logistics coordination
  • Provide on-site event support
• Content Support
  • Film content during events on company-provided equipment
  • Assist with creative direction for marketing and case studies
  • Manage basic editing/organization of content files
• Marketing Support (optional)
  • Support marketing efforts to promote each event on platforms like Luma and in local newsletters
• Vendor & Partner Research
  • Build lists of local Austin vendors, creators, and collaborators
  • Support research and outreach of brand/venue partnerships
• Implementation Support
  • Light project management
  • Assist with administrative prep and follow-up around events

Qualifications

• Based in or near Austin, TX (must have reliable transportation)
• Strong organizational and communication skills
• Interest in events, media, marketing or creative business management
• Experience with filming events or groups of people
• Bonus: experience using Canva, Notion, or Luma

Time Commitment & Compensation

• Internship for academic credit
• Paid stipend for events worked outside the core responsibilities of this role
• ~10 hrs/month
