We are conducting an experiment at the Freeman Ranch (Goat Unit).

 

The main priority of this position is to help with the daily management of the animals and collect samples. Duties require students to work outside in the weather. Students will be involved in working with goats and handling goats to collect weight data, blood samples, or fecal samples. Clean water throughs, weight feed, and cleaning pens. Students must have a good attitude, be willing to get dirty/hot/sweaty, and work well with a team and independently. 

Schedule:

This position is for October-November, and you need to be at the Freeman Ranch at 8 am every day (including weekends). You must have a vehicle to get to the Freeman Ranch. The specific days can be arranged based on availability, but daily assistance is preferred if possible.

Payrate Determination

$12/hour
