We’re growing our brand presence and are looking for a creative, self-motivated Social Media Specialist to join our team. This is a fantastic opportunity for students, interns, or early-career professionals looking to gain real-world marketing and media experience in the home construction and real estate industries.
Position Overview
The Social Media Specialist will work closely with our leadership and marketing team to create engaging digital content that highlights our craftsmanship, projects, and community values.
This hybrid role blends on-site content capture (visiting job sites to photograph and film our work) with remote work focused on editing, social media planning, and strategy.
Responsibilities
- Develop and execute social media strategies aligned with company marketing goals.
- Visit job sites and completed projects to capture high-quality photos and videos of ongoing builds, craftsmanship, and team culture.
- Create and post engaging content on platforms such as Facebook, Instagram, TikTok, and LinkedIn.
- Design graphics and videos using tools like Canva, Adobe Creative Suite, or other similar AI content creation tools.
- Write compelling captions, headlines, and stories that reflect our brand voice.
- Monitor engagement, respond to comments/messages, and maintain a consistent posting schedule.
- Track performance metrics and provide recommendations for content optimization.
- Stay informed on industry and social media trends, particularly in construction, home design, and lifestyle marketing.
Qualifications
- Experience with social media management, marketing, or content creation (internships or coursework count!).
- Strong photography and videography skills, including editing for social media.
- Proficiency in Canva, CapCut, or similar creative tools.
- Excellent writing, editing, and communication skills.
- Understanding of brand storytelling and visual consistency.
- Reliable transportation for travel to construction sites in and around Georgetown, TX.
- Organized, motivated, and able to work independently.
Schedule & Compensation
- Part-Time, Hourly (10–15 hours per week)
- Hybrid: Some remote work, with site visits required for content capture.
- Flexible scheduling to accommodate student class schedules.
- Eligible for college internship credit, if applicable.
