Next Era Energy | Actuarial Intern

This position at PALMS Insurance, a NextEra Energy company, is part of their Actuarial & Risk department and is a paid Actuarial Internship in Finance, based in Juno Beach, FL. It's for students pursuing bachelor's degrees or higher with a minimum cumulative GPA of 3.0 and lasts for a summer internship period. Interns will support data management, pricing and reserving functions, gain exposure to ERM framework and catastrophe modeling, and perform data extraction and analysis using analytical software like Python while preparing reports using Excel, Word, and PowerPoint. This role provides hands-on experience in Finance within the insurance industry and is ideal for students interested in actuarial science, risk management, and insurance analytics.
