Recreational Gymnastics Coach

Position Overview:

We are looking for an energetic and positive Recreational Gymnastics Coach to join our team! This position is ideal for someone who loves working with kids and creating a fun, safe, and supportive environment where athletes can build confidence, coordination, and strength. Coaches will lead classes ranging from preschool through advanced recreational levels, focusing on proper technique, safety, and a love for the sport.

Responsibilities:

Lead fun and engaging gymnastics classes for children of varying ages and skill levels.

Teach proper skill progressions and safety techniques on all events.

Provide positive feedback, encouragement, and clear instruction to athletes.

Maintain a safe and organized gym environment at all times.

Communicate effectively with parents, athletes, and staff.

Assist with class setup, clean-up, and equipment organization.

Support gym events such as showcases, camps, and recreational programs.

Be a positive role model, promoting teamwork, confidence, and discipline.

Qualifications:

Prior experience working with children (gymnastics, cheer, dance, or physical education background preferred).

Enthusiastic, patient, and dependable with strong communication skills.

Ability to work well as part of a team and independently.

Must be comfortable spotting beginner to intermediate skills safely.

USA Gymnastics Instructor Membership or willingness to obtain (training provided).
