Competitive Women's Gymnastics Coach

Position Overview:

We are seeking an experienced and motivated Competitive Women’s Gymnastics Coach to join our team. The ideal candidate has a strong background in women’s artistic gymnastics, a passion for athlete development, and the ability to create a structured, positive, and disciplined training environment. You’ll work closely with athletes of various competitive levels (Xcel, Compulsory, and/or Optional) to help them reach their full potential—physically, mentally, and competitively.

Responsibilities:

Plan and implement daily training programs that build strength, flexibility, and skill progression for competitive athletes.

Coach athletes during practices, meets, and events with professionalism and enthusiasm.

Monitor athlete performance and provide individualized feedback to support growth and confidence.

Maintain safety standards and proper spotting techniques at all times.

Collaborate with the coaching staff to develop long-term goals and training plans.

Communicate effectively with athletes, parents, and staff regarding progress, expectations, and meet schedules.

Support the gym’s mission and culture by modeling teamwork, respect, and accountability.

Assist in choreography, routine construction, and music selection (if applicable).

Attend all required staff meetings, clinics, and professional development opportunities.

Qualifications:

Prior experience coaching competitive women’s gymnastics (minimum 2 years preferred).

Strong understanding of USAG levels, Xcel program, and current Code of Points.

Must hold or be willing to obtain USA Gymnastics Professional Membership and Safety Certification.

CPR/First Aid certification (preferred or must obtain within 60 days).

Excellent communication, leadership, and organizational skills.

Positive attitude, reliable, and able to motivate athletes in a supportive environment.
