SAT Tutor

SAT Tutor – On-Campus, Part-Time

Location: Multiple School Locations in Texas
Schedule: Saturdays, 4 hours per session

About Us

Upreach Learning partners with schools to provide high-quality academic support that empowers students to succeed. We are currently seeking an experienced and engaging SAT Tutor to lead small-group classes and help students prepare for success on the SAT.

Position Overview

The SAT Tutor will teach once a week on Saturdays for 4–5 hours at the assigned school campus. Candidates must demonstrate strong subject matter expertise and test-taking strategies for both the Math and Reading/Writing sections of the SAT.

As part of the hiring process, applicants will be required to take and pass an SAT-based exam to ensure proficiency. Current college students or advanced high school graduates with a high SAT score are welcome to apply.

Responsibilities

Teach engaging and effective SAT prep lessons in a small-group setting.

Cover SAT Math, Evidence-Based Reading, and Writing sections with strategies for each.

Prepare lesson plans tailored to student needs and skill levels.

Provide practice tests, review results, and guide students in improving scores.

Maintain student progress records and communicate updates as needed.

Foster a positive, focused, and encouraging learning environment.

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree, current college enrollment, or advanced high school graduate with a strong SAT score.

Prior SAT tutoring or teaching experience preferred but not required.

Strong command of SAT content and proven test strategies.

Excellent communication and classroom management skills.

Ability to motivate and connect with high school students.

Reliable, organized, and professional.

Additional Requirements

May take and pass an assessment during the interview process.

Must be available Saturdays for the duration of the program.

Must comply with school campus policies and procedures.
