DEPARTMENT DESCRIPTION: The Department of Mathematics at Texas State University is seeking undergraduate student applicants for an office worker position(s).
JOB SUMMARY: An office worker is a part-time student worker position responsible for assisting the department staff in the main office suite.
JOB DUTIES:
- Answering phones and responding to emails
- Handling print and copy requests
- Providing support for department events
- Assisting with office cleaning and organization
- Managing inventory and supply requests
- Performing other office tasks as needed

DIRECT SUPERVISOR: Kim Dunbar
WORK SCHEDULE: Students who apply for this position are expected to be able to work no more than 5-20 hours/week.
EMPLOYEE EVALUATION PROCESS: Student employees will be evaluated by their supervisor at the end of Fall and Spring semesters.
PAYRATE DETERMINATION: All student employees begin at the starting pay rate and are employed for the semester only.
