TXST One Stop Student Assistant | Fall '25 Work Study

Job Description: 

TXST One Stop is hiring a Student Assistant to assist with customer service regarding Financial Aid & Scholarships, Undergraduate Admissions, Student Business Services, and the University Registrar. 

Job Summary: 

The TXST One Stop Student Assistant will work alongside the TXST One Stop staff and provide excellent service to our customers. Student Assistants will contribute their critical thinking and problem-solving skills to ensure our services meet students and family’s needs. Student Assistants will be responsible for responding to webform inquiries and providing other office support as needed. 

Job Duties: 

  • Serve as first level contact for customers of the TXST One Stop
  • Demonstrate professionalism and confidentiality in all interactions
  • Help maintain a friendly, professional and welcoming environment
  • Assist with opening and closing procedures
  • Assist with webform cases
  • Contribute ideas and support to the TXST One Stop social media team
  • Occasionally assist with and attend outreach events

Direct Supervisor - Training Specialist for TXST One Stop

Employee Evaluation Process - Evaluation will occur once per semester by supervisor

Payrate Determination - Payrate is the same regardless of experience and will remain the same throughout the employment period.
