Office Assistant | Fall '25 Work Study

The Forensic Anthropology Center at Texas State (FACTS) mission is to advance forensic science and anthropology through world-class education, research, service, and outreach. JOB DESCRIPTION:
MUST BE ON THE WORK STUDY PROGRAM. The Forensic Anthropology Center is looking for someone who is knowledgeable in general office tasks to include scanning and filing. The position will include scanning paper files into electronic files as well as light office work/data entry in order to digitize most of our documents. This position is for the Fall 2025 and Spring 2026 semesters and is not located on the main campus.

Dr. Daniel Wescott
WORK SCHEDULE:
The schedule is fairly flexible, however will need to take place Monday-Friday in the hours of 9-4pm. Typically, students work 10-15 hours per week.
EMPLOYEE EVALUATION PROCESS:
Student employees are evaluated by their supervisors at the end of each long semester.
PAYRATE DETERMINATION:
Payrate is determined on the amount awarded to the student through the work-study program.
JOB LOCATION: Off-Campus location at the Grady Early Building
